For this award-winning stationary designer, I built a global page template using HTML/CSS, based on her own Photoshop mockups. The goal was to make the site easy to manage via code, as there is no CMS. In addition, using JavaScript and the MooTools library, I built functionality for the image galleries as well as the scrolling effects in the sidebar items.

RelightUS
I helped RelightNY, a nonprofit organization focused on green initiatives, grant access to users nationwide by porting the existing RelightNY site to RelightUS. I improved the mapping experience by implementing a Google Maps component along with a cluster manager to improve performance. I also optimized the overall site performance by creating CSS sprites, enabling GZIP compression, adding expires headers and implementing caching on the server; all resulting in an average load time reduction of 10 seconds.

Verizon Wireless
I build reusable JavaScript components for the Verizon Wireless website. To streamline development, I built a JavaScript library, using MooTools as a base, that contains widgets such as tooltips, modal boxes, slideshows and range sliders. The library provides an API for the widgets, complete with custom events. In addition, I also provide support for some existing components such as the global navigation.
